The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops requires at least two (2) consecutive academic years of preparation for the reception of any sacrament by children and youth (Pastoral Manual). The First Communion preparation program begins as early as the First (1st) Grade. The Confirmation preparation program begins as early as the Seventh (7th) Grade.
Please submit ALL required documents at the time of registration. Documents can be uploaded within the registration form, scanned and emailed to the Office of Religious Education, or physically dropped off or mailed in to the COTLF Parish Office, attention to Jorge Santibáñez.

- Consent Forms
- Registering parents will electronically consent to the program enrollment within the registration form.
- If child is not yet baptized, the Faith Formation Commitment Form must be physically signed by both parents and turned in.
- If parents of the enrolling child are separated or divorced, please read and, if necessary, sign and submit the Notice for Enrollment of Children of Separated/Divorced Parents.

- Certificates are required in the first year of registration. We will retain certificates on file for at least 7 years. If we are missing any certificates as we process the registration form, we will notify you in writing.

- Actively registered members of another parish will need a signed letter of permission from that parish, allowing your child to attend classes in our program.
- Students transferring to our Religious Ed program from another Catholic School or Catholic Parish Religious Ed Program will need a letter of completion from the prior institution before we can place your child in a class.
2024-2025 Fee Schedule
Yearly Registration Fee below includes class registration, textbook, sacramental supplies and certificates, all special retreat events, and associated fees for one academic year. Students scheduled to celebrate First Communion in the spring will also receive a commemorative white tie (boys) or veil (girls). Payment of the yearly registration fee is due immediately at the time of registration.

*The special Post-Communion Registration Refund is available to students in Grades 3 through 6 who return for ongoing Religious Education classes in the years between the celebration of First Communion and the start of their Confirmation Prep (7th Grade). Families with a qualifying student will receive a $50 refund to their original card of payment after the class registration has been fully processed.
Withdrawals Refund Policy
- Withdrawals made before classes begin will be handled on a case-by-case basis, refunded between 80-100%.
- Withdrawals made between the start of classes and the end September will be refunded 50% of the total registration fee.
- Withdrawals made after September are non-refundable.
