Happy June! I’m happy to share that all details for next year’s Religious Ed/Catechetical Year are now posted, including the full calendar, registration details, and fee schedules. The online registration portal will open next Monday, June 7^th at 9am, but you can begin reviewing the details for next year and compiling the necessary documents needed for registration or re-registration. Some important highlights:

New Student Registration: Please fill out the online registration form, beginning next Monday, as completely and accurately as possible. A copy of each child’s birth and baptism certificates (and Communion certificate, if applicable), must be included. Certificates can be attached to the online form or can be sent in via email afterwards.

Returning Students Re-Registration: All returning students must re-register for the second year of Sacramental Prep using the same online registration form, beginning next Monday. If birth/baptism certificates were submitted this past year, they do not need to be submitted again with the re-registration.

Class Schedule: We will be returning to fully in-person classes in the Fall. Classes will be held on:

• Wednesdays, 4-5:15p (1^st Grade – 5^th Grade)
• Wednesdays, 6:30p-7:45p (6^th Grade +)
• Saturdays 10a-11:15a (Kinder-5^th Grades)
• There are currently no plans to offer virtual classes at the parish next year. If virtual options become available, either here at COTLF or via the Archdiocese, an update will be posted here.

Calendar: Classes will run from September 15/18, 2021 through May 4/7, 2022 – the full calendar and the year at a glance highlights have been updated.

Fee Schedule: Rel.Ed. registration costs will return to the same rates that were in place for the 2019-2020 catechetical year. The $50 activities fee that was normally collected in year 2 of sacramental prep, however, is now being evenly divided into each year of sacramental prep.

Special Pricing: Students in grades 3 through 6 who are enrolling in POST-COMMUNION/ongoing Religious Ed  classes will receive a special discount of $50 each. I invite all our families who just celebrated the First Communion of their children to consider re-enrolling them for ongoing, grade-level, age-appropriate Religious Ed classes. Christian discipleship is a lifelong process of growth and formation!

Registration Form: The registration form is NOT YET AVAILABLE on the website. The form will go live on Monday, June 7^th at 9:00am. This website has been updated with all relevant information, but we will not begin registering students until next Monday! Registration will remain open throughout the summer months, until the end of September. Please register early if you have a specific preference of class day (Wednesday or Saturday). Once classes fill up to capacity, registration will close!
